Lalla Fatéma
" Lalla Fatéma " is the sitcom
that Ali n' Productions produces on behalf of
the TV channel 2M.
" Lalla Fatéma " tells the daily
life of a Moroccan family, the Benzizis, and talks
about relationships between parents and children,
daughters and in-laws and neighbors. Many social
problems which are relevant to the Moroccan society
are tackled in a humorous way through situations
lived by this typical family.
The shooting of the show called up for modern
filming methods, inspired from the West, and had
both Moroccan and French technicians working on
it. The script was written by a group of 6 authors
who had taken hands-on training sessions with
a specialized scriptwriting director, Sylvie Bailly.
" Lalla Fatéma " features great
Moroccan movie stars such as Khadija Assad, Aziz
Saâdallah, Khadija Jamal, Mohamed el Khalfi, Aïcha
Sajid, Mohamed Lotfi, Hicham Moussoune..., and
has been broadcasted for the second consecutive
season during the month of Ramadan.
In 2001, " Lalla Fatéma " had
reached significant audience ratings and market
share. The sitcom experienced a historical success
while appoaching a rating of 61%.
Aired during the month of Ramadan 2001 and 2002
on prime time, during the breaking of the fast.
